Each quarter we analyze and trend performance metrics such as; time to complete a precertification; average hold times; inpatient admissions and days/1000 employees; all cause inpatient readmission rates within 30 days of hospital discharge; inpatient length of stay (hospital and post-acute care facilities); case management return on investment; case management and disease intervention refusal rate; in-network steering; member, provider, and client experiences. Our results in each area exceed national benchmarks and our members and providers have consistently rated their overall satisfaction in the outstanding and excellent categories.
